Anthony Rizzo calls himself 'Tony Two Chains,' plans to wear his bling again |
CHICAGO —
Anthony Rizzo made headlines by breaking out the bling for the Chicago Cubs' game on Wednesday and going yard while donning two oversized gold chains. Now, the fun-loving first baseman has dubbed himself "Tony Two Chains" and is planning to wear the jewelry again on Thursday.
While there is no word yet on whether or not Rizzo plans to release a mixtape under the Tony Two Chains moniker, there is reason to believe that he will continue sporting the necklaces for as long as he continues to perform well at the plate. A bling-free Rizzo went 0-for-5 on Tuesday before going 2-for-4 and hitting his fourth home run of the season the very next night. Stay tuned for what Rizzo has in store for Thursday's contest.
