Former Bears DB Buster Skrine on the run from police

Former Chicago Bears and NFL defensive back Buster Skrine is on the run after facing several fraud charges in Canada.

Skrine didn't show up for his May 6 court date, and his GPS monitoring system has gone offline.

Here is the press release from the police who are currently searching for him:

A male who was arrested by Durham Regional Police Service at Pearson International Airport in August 2023, for numerous fraud related charges, is being sought after his GPS monitor went offline following his release from a Saskatchewan court.

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the accused was transferred from an Ontario Correctional Centre to a Saskatchewan Correctional Centre to face additional fraud charges.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, the accused was granted bail from a Saskatchewan Correctional Centre, with conditions to abide by a GPS monitoring program and return to Durham Region to attend court. The accused failed to attend his court date on May 6th, 2024, and his GPS monitor has since gone offline.

Darryl Frank SKRINE, age 34 from the USA is wanted for: Fail to Appear, and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
