Jason Heyward signs with Dodgers

Former Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward has signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The contract includes an invite to the spring training next season.

The Cubs released the veteran outfielder with one year left on his $184 million deal with the ballclub.

In 2022, he hit .204 with a homer and 10 RBIs in 48 games.
