CINCINNATI — Just two at-bats after Cubs left fielder
Kyle Schwarber went yard with a solo bomb, Cubs right fielder
Jason Heyward clubbed a solo shot of his own on Sunday. The dinger came in the top of the fourth at Great American Ball Park, and it placed the Cubs ahead of the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 2-0.
Heyward's fourth dinger of the season, the 387-footer served as the third home run allowed by Reds starter Luis Castillo on the year. Castillo dished up an 89-mph changeup that Heyward made perfect contact on and sent into the right field seats, giving "J-Hey" his 15th RBI of 2020. There is no truth to allegations that the Cubs tweet more than any other team. pic.twitter.com/AFXqTO4Ovg ?? 102.2 MPH #Cubs 2 @ #Reds 0 [T4-1o]:
