The Chicago Cubs (58-51) will take on the Washington Nationals in a possible playoff preview on 1:20 PM CDT on Sunday afternoon televised on CSN Chicago and TBS.

Lefty veteran Jon Lester will get the start for the defending World Champions opposed by righty Erick Fedde.

In 2017, Lester has an 8-6 record with 3.96 ERA and 139 strikeouts.

The Cubs are currently in first place in the National League Central (0.5 games) ahead of the Brew Crew.
