Cairo Santos was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week by the NFL for games played in Week 7.
Santos nailed all four of his field goal attempts – from 42, 23, 38, and 50 yards – and all three of his extra point attempts for a total of 15 points in the Bears’ 33-14 win at New England. The 15 points were the most in the NFL by a kicker in Week 7. This is his second Special Teams Player of the Week Award as he previously won the award in Week 6 last season.
