Kyler Gordon misses practice with injury

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Bears defensive back Kyler Gordon missed Thursday's practice at training camp with "tightness" that he felt on Tuesday.

“He's still feeling that tightness right now,” said head coach Matt Eberflus on Thursday. “We'll see where it is.”

No word yet on what type of tightness and how serious the injury actually is.

In 2023, Gordon logged 61 tackles (44 solo) with two interceptions, six passes defensed, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and a sack.

Overall, in his young NFL career, he has totaled 132 tackles (99 solo), 12 passes defensed, five tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, 1.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and five interceptions in 26 games (21 starts).

Josh Blackwell and Greg Stroman split first-team reps in Gordon's absence.
