Bears vs. Ravens: Best Bets, Player Props and Parlays |
CHICAGO - The Chicago Bears are now on a four-game win streak after their 26-14 win over the New Orleans Saints. They now face the 1-5 Baltimore Ravens on Sun. Oct. 26 (Noon / CBS), who could potentially be without quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has not been a full participant in practice this week and has not played since September.
According to DraftKings, Chicago is currently a 7-point underdog despite having a way better record than Baltimore and the Ravens’ defensive struggles. Quite honestly, this is insulting to the Bears, who have won over half of their games against the Ravens and are playing far better. Therefore, this seems like a lock for the Bears to cover the spread. A $5 bet for Chicago to cover the spread (-115) would have a $9.34 payout. In Chicago’s four-game win streak, none of their games have had more than 49 points. This is crucial given the over / under for their matchup against the Ravens is currently 49.5 points. Baltimore’s defense has given up at least 37 points in four of its six games so far this season, meaning the Bears should have the opportunity to score a lot of points. However, the Chicago defense has given up at least 14 points every game. Therefore, between the Bears scoring and the fact that Baltimore probably will score a few times, especially if Jackson is back, the over will hit in this game. A $5 bet on the over hitting (-112) would have a payout of $9.46. Player Props Strictly from a numbers perspective, quarterback Caleb Williams had his worst game of the season against the Saints. Going against a defense that allows the third-most passing touchdowns of any team in the league, that should not happen again. The run game has gotten going a bit, allowing the Bears to have a more balanced attack. Nonetheless, Williams will use this opportunity against a poor defense to get the passing game back on track and will therefore throw at least two touchdowns. The payout on a $5 bet for Williams throwing at least two touchdowns (+106) is $10.30. Running back D’Andre Swift has been on another level since the bye week. However, going back to before the bye week, Swift has three straight games with a touchdown—two on the ground and one through the air. With this defensive matchup, Swift will surely find the endzone once again. Therefore, a $5 bet for Swift to score a touchdown during this game (+130) would have a payout of $11.50. When it comes to betting, it helps to back a consistent player. Wide receiver DJ Moore is as close to consistent as you can get in the NFL. He has yet to have fewer than three catches in a game this season, but has also not surpassed five catches in a game this year. Moore gets some looks from Williams, but has not had a breakout game this season. This game offers him a chance to do that. However, given his target share and status on the injury report, that breakout game probably will not come this week. Nonetheless, he should still manage to get at least four receptions in this game. The payout on a $5 bet for Moore to have at least four receptions (-136) is $8.67. Same-Game Parlay In a same-game parlay with Chicago covering the spread, the over hitting, Williams throwing at least two touchdowns, Swift as an anytime touchdown scorer and Moore catching at least four passes (+1200), a $5 bet would have a payout of $65. DraftKings Featured Parlay - “LeBron James’ NFL Picks” This featured parlay is a five-leg parlay with the Bears beating the Ravens, the Atlanta Falcons defeating the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills beating the Carolina Panthers, the Philadelphia Eagles beating the New York Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers beating the Houston Texans. A $5 bet on this parlay (+1247) would have a payout of $67.38. Three out of the five teams in this parlay are favored - the Falcons, Bills and Eagles. However, Chicago should beat the Ravens given how they have looked this season. Furthermore, the Texans have not been good and San Francisco keeps finding ways to win despite all of their injuries. Therefore, this is a solid parlay to bet on.
