Cubs Corner with Ken Allison: Cubs offseason, David Ross, All things Kris Bryant

by - Staff Writer -

Welcome back to the Cubs Corner presented by Coach’s Bar and Grill.

On the most recent episode, Anthony welcomed fellow CubsHQ writer Ken Allison on the show to talk Cubs offseason plans, David Ross, and all things Kris Bryant.

The pair began talking about how bland the Cubs offseason has been, with few signings and trades but plentiful with rumors.

After analyzing David Ross and agreeing that he is the man for the job, the two also decided that they wanted to thank Joe Maddon for the contributions he did make — citing that he was undoubtedly the right hire at the right time, but the team needed a different voice.

As the show went along, Kris Bryant was a prominent topic. As Anthony believes he should not be traded and would rather see him extended, Ken thinks it would be best for the team if they get a few pieces for him.

Find out more about their opinions and their predictions for the 2020 season on this week's episode of the Cubs Corner.
