Its the offseason and that means arbitration for a ton of players throughout the major leagues.
On the Cubs, there are several players that will be arbitration-eligible. Mlbtraderumors.com released their annual salary projections including seven players on the Cubs roster. Kris Bryant – $18.5MM Addison Russell – $5.1MM Javier Baez – $9.3MM Kyle Schwarber – $8.0MM Willson Contreras – $4.5MM Albert Almora – $1.8MM Kyle Ryan – $1.1MM It will be interesting to see if the Cubs and Russell decide to part ways or they re-up and pay around five million for his services.
