Cubs third baseman David Bote got his second straight start for the ballclub and made the best of it against the Reds on Tuesday night.

In the eighth inning, Bote showed off his power by smoking his first homer of the season to right center to put the Cubs up 6-2.

During the game, he was impressive with a single, a walk, and the aforementioned dinger.
