Cubs lineup vs. Reds, Schwarber out

The Chicago Cubs (62-55) will take on the Cincinnati Reds on 7:05 PM CDT on Tuesday night televised on CSN Chicago. The Cubs are in sole possession of first place ahead of the rival St. Louis Cardinals by 1.5 games in the National League Central division.

Righty Kyle Hendricks will start for the defending World Champions opposed by righty Luis Castillo.

In 2017, Castillo has a 2-5 record with 3.73 ERA with 59 strikeouts.

Willson Contreras will still be out of the lineup for four to six weeks dealing with his hamstring injury.

In other lineup news, second baseman Tommy La Stella gets a rare start and outfielder Kyle Schwarber and Ben Zobrist are out of the starting lineup.
