CHICAGO — Helping keep the Minnesota Twins off the scoreboard late in a 1-0 shutout win at Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs turned two in the top of the ninth on Friday night. A 4-6-3 double play came after closer Jeremy Jeffress walked the leadoff man and featured an impressive midair throw by shortstop Javier Baez.

Josh Donaldson grounded up the middle, and second baseman Nico Hoerner fielded it before flipping the ball to Baez at second. Baez hopped off the bag after recording the force out and fired a perfect throw to Anthony Rizzo at first, completing the double play in plenty of time.
