Allen Robinson releases heartfelt statement to Bears fans

Former Bear standout receiver Allen Robinson is off to the Rams on a new three-year, $46.5 million deal to play with the NFL champions.

Robinson took time to release a heartfelt statement thanking the Bears and its fans for his time in Chicago.

THANK YOU, CHICAGO

"I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Chicago Bears organization; it was truly an honor to play for your storied franchise.

To the McCaskey family, coaches, and front office staff - thank you for your belief in me, and thank you for the opportunity! To the brothers I gained in the locker room, it was an honor to suit up and play beside you - the bond we have is forever, and I look forward to seeing all the success in store for you. To my foundation board, your support has been invaluable. All we have accomplished would not be possible with you!

And finally, to the fans and city of Chicago, thank you for embracing my family and me! So many of my greatest football moments were on Soldier Field, surrounded by the passion radiating from you. Those memories will never be forgotten!

Bears Nation, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything!
