Bears defensive lineman Zacch Pickens ruled out against Titans

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced their injury report on Friday, and talented defensive lineman Zacch Pickens has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a groin injury.

"He's still working through some of the stuff there, soft tissue and it's positive," said coach Matt Eberflus on Friday. "It's looking good. It's just not ready for right now."

To make matters worse, three other defensive linemen were ruled "questionable," with Montez Sweat (toe), Darrell Taylor (foot), and Demarcus Walker (groin).

Taylor injured his foot in Thursday's practice.

"He got stepped on [Thursday] on his foot," Eberflus said. "We'll work him out [Saturday], we'll work him [before] the game and we'll see where he is at that point."

Veteran receiver Keenan Allen was also listed as questionable with his heel issue.

However, Sweat and Allen were full participants at practice, so it makes sense that they will likely be ready to go by Sunday.

For the Titans injury report, standout safety Jamaal Adams has already been ruled out of the game with his injury.

Star receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is listed as questionable to play.

The kickoff between the Bears and Titans is at noon CT at Soldier Field.
