Chicago Cubs manager Counsell announced that Cubs outfield prospect Brennen Davis has entered concussion protocol following a pitch hitting him in the head on Tuesday.

As a result, the 24-year-old will be sidelined for several days.

Davis has been impressive early this spring with a homer last Saturday.
