Hendricks named NL Outstanding Pitcher

Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks was named the National League Outstanding Pitcher on Wednesday night as part of the 2016 Player's Choice Awards.

Hendricks was 16-8 with a sparkling 2.13 ERA with 170 strikeouts and a 0.98 WHIP on the season. For his career, he is 31-17 with a 2.92 ERA with 170 strikeouts and a 1.07 WHIP.
