The Chicago Bears announced on Saturday two roster moves ahead of Sunday's rivalry game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Bears signed quarterback Nathan Peterman to the active roster.

He will be the backup Sunday for Justin Fields, who is expected to start the contest.

Peterman has been on the Bears practice squad for 11 weeks this season.

Additionally, the team placed quarterback Trevor Siemian on injured reserve after suffering an oblique injury last week against the Jets.

Siemian played through the injury and completed 14 out of 25 passes for 179 yards with a touchdown and interception.

He will soon have surgery on his oblique and be out for the season.

The Bears also added safety Adrian Colbert and cornerback Harrison Hand to the active roster.
