Carl Edwards Jr. injury update

Cubs promising reliever Carl Edwards Jr. left the game with an injury in the seventh inning during the Cubs 10-2 victory over the Dodgers on Wednesday night.

Edwards said he left the game with some hamstring tightness when he slipped on the mound. He said that he is fine during postgame interviews and will be available for Thursday night's game.

"I'll be ready tomorrow," Edwards said.

Update: Day to Day with cramp injury.
