Roster Move: Bears sign RB Roschon Johnson

The Chicago Bears officially signed fourth-rounder Roschon Johnson to his four-year rookie contract on Monday.

The contract was worth $4.608 million and included a $767,688 signing bonus, according to reports.

In 2022, Johnson rushed for 554 yards and five touchdowns on 93 carries and had 14 receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown.

Overall, he had 2,190 yards and 23 touchdowns on 392 carries during his time at Texas.

Johnson will be competing with Khalil Herbert, D'Onta Foreman, and Travis Homer for carries this season.

Only second-round picks Gervon Dexter and Tyrique Stevenson remain unsigned from the Bears' 2023 draft class.
