Chicago Cubs announce 2024 Opening Day Roster

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Chicago Cubs have set their Opening Day 26-man roster in advance of their 2024 season opener this afternoon at the Texas Rangers.

Infielder Garrett Cooper has been added to the 40-man roster.

The Cubs have placed Caleb Kilian on the 60-day injured list (right shoulder strain). The Cubs have also placed two players on the injured list, retroactive to March 25: right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon (15-day, back strain) and infielder Patrick Wisdom (10-day, back strain).
